Baseball Recap: Wister Snags 13th Win in Last 15 Games

Wister owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They came out on top against the Allen Mustangs by a score of 5-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2022.

Wister is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Allen, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-9.

Wister has already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Drumright on the 1st. Hopefully Allen paid attention to the Wildcats' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats on Saturday.
