The Western Warriors will play host again on Monday to welcome the Southern Trojans, where first pitch is scheduled at 5:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, Southern can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Moore as Southern made off with a 12-2 win. Considering Southern has won four games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Alyssa Smallwood was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Smallwood was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Samantha Hethcox was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing seven bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Morghan Dunn, who scored three runs and stole six bases while going 3-for-4.
