Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dulaney). Everything went their way against the Chesapeake Bay Hawks on Wednesday as the Dulaney Lions made off with an 83-58 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Bay Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Camaren Battle, who went 5 of 10 en route to 16 points and three steals. Those 16 points gave Battle a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Julius White, who posted 11 points.

The win (which was Dulaney's fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.4 points per game. As for Chesapeake, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dulaney will welcome Perry Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Perry Hall has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-3 during that stretch of close contests. Chesapeake has already played their next game (against Carver A&T), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
