Softball Recap: Crane Takes a Loss

Crane lost to Hurley back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 5-4. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crane's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Hurley, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Crane didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Billings on the 9th. Hurley has also already played their next matchup (against Southwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
