Basketball Recap: Parkside Beats Sandy Spring Friends for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Parkside had won five straight games and Colby Murphy did his part to make it six on Saturday. The Parkside Eagles snuck past the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests with a 65-60 win thanks in part to Murphy, who posted 29 points. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Parkside has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Sandy Spring Friends, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-21.
