Volleyball Recap: Millbrook Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Millbrook had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Rhinebeck Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-18.

Millbrook found their leader in freshman Gracia Rios, who had 15 assists and three aces.

Millbrook was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 19 aces in three consecutive matches.

Millbrook's victory bumped their record up to 9-3-2. As for Rhinebeck, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Millbrook will take on rival Ellenville at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rhinebeck is set to square off against their familiar foe Mount Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
