Baseball Recap: East Noble Has No Trouble Against Central Noble

East Noble lost to Central Noble back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Cougars. With that win, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Parker Kerr was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Deegan Munk, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

East Noble always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Noble only posted an OBP of .200.

East Noble has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Central Noble, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

East Noble wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-5 win against Lakeland on the 10th. As for Central Noble, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-3 victory against Tippecanoe Valley on the 12th.
