Basketball Recap: Seckinger Comes Up Short at Home Against Rabun County + How To Watch

Seckinger unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Rabun County Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 68-44. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Rabun County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hayes Free, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Free a new career-high in steals (six). Another player making a difference was Huey Blalock, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten assists.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seckinger will welcome Kennesaw Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rabun County, they will be playing at home against White County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
