Volleyball Recap: Roanoke-Benson Falls to Princeville in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Roanoke-Benson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Princeville Princes on Monday. The Rockets have struggled against the Princes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Roanoke-Benson ultimately came up short, they really made Princeville work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-18.

Looking ahead, Roanoke-Benson will be playing at home against Eureka at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Princeville, they will take on Illinois Valley Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
