Soccer Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Lancaster after they claimed the first goal on Wednesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Indian Land Warriors by a score of 2-1. Lancaster were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Indian Land earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Lancaster's goal came courtesy of Angello Ponce, who's now up to three this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Lancaster and nudges their season record down to 11-8. As for Indian Land, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13.

Lancaster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indian Land, they will face off against Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Indian Land are facing Northwestern at the right time seeing as Northwestern are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
