Alexander took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Kendall, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 win over the Eagles on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since May 6, 2025.

The team relied heavily on Ava Yax, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Ella Felski, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Alexander and bumps their season record up to 5-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Kendall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Alexander and Kendall will both be playing Attica the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host the Blue Devils at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
