While Hillsboro's win against Itasca wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Wampus Cats on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on six straight.

Despite the loss, Itasca saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lailah Stevenson had 11 digs.

Hillsboro's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Itasca, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Hillsboro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Abbott on the 23rd. As for Itasca, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Valley Mills on the 23rd.
