Basketball Recap: Marshfield Takes a Loss

Marshfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Hartville Eagles 69-34. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Eagles are ranked 57th).

Marshfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Hartville, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.

Marshfield will take on Bolivar at 6:15 p.m. on February 4th. As for Hartville, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chadwick at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
