The Foresthill Wildfires will face off against the Buckingham Charter Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Foresthill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

Foresthill had taken Western Sierra Collegiate Academy down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end last Tuesday. The Wildfires fell 10-5 to the Wolves. The Wildfires have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hunter Byrum made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Dowling, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Buckingham Charter hadn't done well against Delta recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Knights came out on top against the Saints by a score of 4-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

The team relied heavily on Wyatt Griffin, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Foresthill's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Buckingham Charter, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Foresthill has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Buckingham Charter struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
