There's no place like home for Keyser, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Allegany Campers on Friday, sneaking past 50-47. Given the Golden Tornado's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 71st in West Virginia, while the Campers are ranked 209th in Maryland), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Braylon Mcgreevy was his usual excellent self, going 6-for-9 on his way to 13 points in addition to six boards and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kameron Samples, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Keyser pushed their record up to 7-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points over those games. As for Allegany, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Coming up, Keyser will be playing at home against Fort Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Allegany, they will head out to square off against Smithsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
