Volleyball Recap: Englewood's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Englewood won the last time they faced Sheridan and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rams.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Englewood was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10.

Kira Cole paced Englewood's offense, picking up four kills. Cole got some help from Shana Owens and her five assists. Owens was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Englewood's victory ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-17. As for Sheridan, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Englewood nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
