Basketball Recap: National Academy Foundation Takes a Loss

National Academy Foundation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 63-26 loss at the hands of the Benjamin Franklin Bayhawks. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 297th, while the Bayhawks are ranked 86th).

National Academy Foundation's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Benjamin Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Coppin Academy the next time they take the court. National Academy Foundation will host Coppin Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Benjamin Franklin will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
