Softball Recap: Tillamook Has No Trouble Against Banks

Tillamook hadn't done well against Banks recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Cheesemakers walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Braves. That three run margin sets a new team best for the Cheesemakers this season.

Dannielle Stockdale and Aubrey Arthur did most of the damage at the plate: Stockdale went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Arthur scored a run while going 1-for-1. Jaedyn Haertel was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.

Tillamook has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Banks, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4-1.

Coming up, Tillamook will challenge North Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Banks, they will square off against Corbett at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
