Football Recap: St. Paul's Finds Playoff Glory Versus Pineville

St. Paul had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Pineville Rebels 56-7. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won six games by 20 points or more so far this season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for St. Paul's, bringing their record up to 9-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.5 points on average over those games. As for Pineville, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, St. Paul's will challenge Evangel Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pineville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
