Willow Spring has gone a perfect 7-0 against Southeast Raleigh recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Storm will take on the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Willow Spring and eight for Southeast Raleigh.

On Wednesday, Willow Spring came up short against Clayton and fell 6-1. The match marked the Storm's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Willow Spring saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Howard, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh fell victim to Cleveland and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Rams, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Willow Spring's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Southeast Raleigh, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Willow Spring took their win against Southeast Raleigh when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 14-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Storm since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
