Softball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley lost against Sutter back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies.

Alexis Otero made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Claudia Dudek, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Sutter, with the win, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-14.

River Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-4 victory against Placer on the 5th. As for Sutter, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-3 loss against Rio Linda on the 5th.
