The team also got some help courtesy of Dowan Stephens, who rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns.

He was just one part of a punishing run game: Lassen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 252 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 157 rushing yards in 17 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Lassen wouldn't let University Prep keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Tysen Conoboy, Reegan Dunten, and Joey Harrison picked up one apiece.

West Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Lassen, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.
