Recap: Tishomingo Indians vs. Tushka Tigers
The Tishomingo Indians's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They secured a 66-62 W over Tushka. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
When it comes to explaining why Tushka lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tagen Simon. Despite the final result, he scored 31 points along with 8 assists and 6 rebounds. Simon scored a full 50% of Tushka's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Gibson, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals.
Tishomingo now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Tushka, the last time they won on the road was back back in November. Having now lost three straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 3-4.
Tishomingo will face off against Silo at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tushka, they will be playing at home against Valliant at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
