Basketball Recap: Hermitage Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Hermitage took on Glen Allen on Friday. The match between the Hermitage Panthers and the Glen Allen Jaguars didn't end well, with the Hermitage Panthers falling 72-58. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-74 back in January.

Kamden Tiller was a one-man wrecking crew for Glen Allen as he posted 11 points in addition to eight steals and five boards. The dominant performance gave Tiller a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Dallas Chavis, who earned 13 points.

Hermitage has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Glen Allen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

Coming up, Hermitage and King's Fork will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. King's Fork will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Hermitage surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glen Allen, they are taking a road trip to take on Freeman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glen Allen is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.9 points per game this season.
