Forest entered their tilt with Vanguard on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Vanguard Knights onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Forest's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six matchups. As for Vanguard, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2-1.

Forest will be home for the holidays to greet Lake Minneola at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Forest's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Vanguard, they will head out on the road to challenge Dunnellon at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
