Suggested Video

The Westchester Comets will play host again on Friday to welcome the Cleveland Cavaliers, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

While Westchester didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Los Angeles on Friday as Westchester made off with a 26-6 win. The Comets' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Landon Davis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 144 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Westchester was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2023.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cleveland). They claimed a resounding 48-8 victory over Hamilton at home. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cavaliers considering their six-point performance the match before.

Westchester pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Cleveland, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Westchester might still be hurting after the 34-13 defeat they got from Cleveland in their previous meeting back in September of 2023. Thankfully for Westchester, Donovan Powell (who rushed for 146 yards on only eight carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
