It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Chenango Valley ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Susquehanna Valley Sabers 4-2. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won three contests in a row.

Chenango Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shea McKeon, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases McKeon has posted since back in April.

Chenango Valley now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Susquehanna Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Coming up, Chenango Valley is taking a road trip to take on Union-Endicott at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Susquehanna Valley, they will host Seton Catholic Central at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
