Basketball Game Preview: East Grand Vikings vs. Easton Bears

The East Grand Vikings will take on the Easton Bears in a holiday battle at at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for East Grand: they have been struggling with ten straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Easton has snatched up nine consecutive wins on the road also dating back to last season.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row dating back to last season, East Grand turned things around against Ashland on Thursday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 48-32 victory over the Hornets. The Vikings' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Easton took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging an 87-18 win over Ashland. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 25 points or more this season.

Easton's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for East Grand, their win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.

East Grand was taken down by Easton 72-32 in their previous matchup back in January. Can East Grand avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
