Patriot Prep Academy played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Franklin Heights Falcons, falling 67-45. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was DeShawn Crawford, who posted 12 points and six boards. Cameron Thomas was another key player, putting up five points along with 15 rebounds and four blocks.

Franklin Heights got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trent Hawthorne Williams out in front who scored five points. The team also got some help courtesy of Javeon Byas, who earned 11 points.

Patriot Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Franklin Heights, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Patriot Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-53 victory against New Hope Christian Academy on the 4th. As for Franklin Heights, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-63 loss against Buckeye Valley on the 31st.
