Spurger came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Burkeville Mustangs by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win two weeks ago.

Spurger's record now sits at 5-10. As for Burkeville, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.
