Volleyball Recap: Bella Vista Takes a Loss

Bella Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack. The Broncos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolfpack from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as three sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 26-24, 26-24.

Eben Jeffries paced Bella Vista's offense, picking up seven kills. Jeffries were helped by Jaiden Jenness and Sheafer Weber, who contributed nine assists each. Shelby Kurtz controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Bella Vista's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cosumnes Oaks, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Bella Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against McClatchy on the 2nd. As for Cosumnes Oaks, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Roseville on the 27th.
