While Springfield's victory against Sycamore wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Yellow Jackets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the War Eagles on Friday. Four seems to be a good number for the Yellow Jackets as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The win made it two in a row for Springfield and bumps their season record up to 10-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Sycamore, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-16.

Coming up, Springfield will face off against Station Camp at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sycamore, they will host Cheatham County Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
