Baseball Recap: South Houston Comes Up Short

South Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 19-3 to the Shadow Creek Sharks.

Braden Mayberry was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

South Houston's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Shadow Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.

While South Houston had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
