Westminster Christian and North Bay Haven Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Westminster Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 4-3. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Gigi Khoury was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Abi Barboza, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Westminster Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8-1. As for North Bay Haven Academy, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-3.
