Baseball Game Preview: Revere Minutemen vs. Aurora Greenmen

For the second straight game, Revere will face off against Aurora. The Minutemen will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Greenmen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Revere is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Revere proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 12) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Aurora 9-7.

AJ Hall looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aaron French, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Tyler Frate was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Revere's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average this season. As for Aurora, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Revere's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's matchup. The Minutemen have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.5 stolen bases per game.
