 Two dominant  backs in  Mason Woods and  Amire Miller are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. After each having a week off, the Lowndes Vikings and the Richmond Hill Wildcats will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Lowndes knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Richmond Hill likes a good challenge.
If Lowndes beats Richmond Hill with 35  points on Friday, it's going to be the  team's new lucky number: they've won their past two  contests with that exact score. The Vikings were the clear victors by  a  35-14 margin over Camden County last Friday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 21  points or more this season.
 Jayce Johnson continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 62 yards and a pair of  touchdowns.

 Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats  last Friday. Richmond Hill was  outmatched by Valdosta and fell  41-0. The defensive woes were  uncharacteristic for Richmond Hill, who until this  matchup were averaging 14.38  points allowed.
 Lowndes' win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Richmond Hill, their  loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Wildcats'  Caleb Easterling, who rushed for 62 yards and one  score on only five carries, and also picked up 60 receiving yards.
