Volleyball Recap: Ruidoso Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Ruidoso had won two straight road games and Angelique 'Angie' Robinson did her part to make it three on Monday. The Warriors came out on top in a nail-biter against the Alamogordo Tigers, sneaking past 3-2 for which the team can thank Robinson, who had 14 digs and two aces. She also put up an assist, which was her first of the season.

Ruidoso had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 22-25, 25-17, 25-14, 16-14.

The victory got Ruidoso back to even at 5-5. As for Alamogordo, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Coming up, Ruidoso will face off against Hatch Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alamogordo will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' contest: after the Warriors face off against the Bears, they'll take on Alamogordo again at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
