Baseball Recap: Crab Orchard Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Crab Orchard's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Johnston City Indians on Tuesday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Crab Orchard saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Watts, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Watts is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Crab Orchard's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Johnston City, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Crab Orchard will host Agape Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Johnston City, they will challenge Trico at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
