Baseball Preview: Lake Forest Scouts vs. Wauconda Bulldogs
The Lake Forest Scouts will face off against the Wauconda Bulldogs at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
On Thursday, Lake Forest didn't have quite enough to beat Evanston and fell 3-2. The Scouts haven't had much luck with the Wildkits recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Charlie Graham made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Those stolen bases were his first of the season.
Meanwhile, Wauconda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-2 to Carmel.
