Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Julian walked away with it. They secured a 58-52 W over the West Shores Wildcats on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Despite the loss, West Shores still got an impressive performance from Marcos Salas, who rushed for 246 yards and five TDs while picking up 12.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes. Salas' longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Julian's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for West Shores, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Julian will face off against Borrego Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Shores does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
