Basketball Game Preview: Central Indians vs. Excelsior Springs Tigers

The Central Indians will challenge the Excelsior Springs Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Central and six for Excelsior Springs.

Last Monday, Central had to suffer through a 50-15 loss at the hands of Smithville. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Excelsior Springs took on Lawson on Tuesday. Excelsior Springs took a blow against Lawson, falling 54-26. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 455th, while the Cardinals are ranked 213th).

Excelsior Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
