Baseball Recap: Harrison Central Victorious

While Harrison Central's win against St. Martin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Harrison Central Red Rebels narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the St. Martin Yellow Jackets 6-4. The Red Rebels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, too.

The team relied heavily on MJ Conner, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Kaynen Beard also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Harrison Central's record is now 3-9. As for St. Martin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.
