Volleyball Recap: Olympia Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

Olympia gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Boone Braves with a sharp 3-0 win. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Olympia walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-18.

Eliza Perdue had a dynamite game, getting 27 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season.

Olympia was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 16 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Boone lost, don't look at Mia Duxbury. Despite the final result, she had eight assists and five digs.

Olympia has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Apopka on the 25th. As for Boone, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lake Highland Prep on the 21st.
