Football Game Preview: American Heritage Stallions vs. NSU University Sharks

Two dominant signal callers in Marcus Stracke and Jayden Miller are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The American Heritage Stallions will venture away from home to take on the NSU University Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. American Heritage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 26.6 points per game this season.

On Friday, American Heritage ended up a good deal behind Lakeland Christian and lost 42-28. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Stallions, who until this game were averaging 13.25 points allowed.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Stracke and Brody Brenneman. Brenneman had a great game and threw for 171 yards and four TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes. Meanwhile, Stracke did his best for the losing side, throwing for 243 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes.

Meanwhile, NSU University fell victim to Ransom Everglades and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 43-0 defeat at the hands of the Raiders. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Sharks were not able to get on the board.

NSU University's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-4. As for American Heritage, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 6-2.

American Heritage was taken down by NSU University 50-14 in their previous matchup back in October of 2018. Can the Stallions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
