Basketball Recap: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Comes Up Short

Georgetown-Ridge Farm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Oakwood Comets, falling 71-44. The Buffaloes were down 58-37 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ajhon Watson, who posted nine points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Pratt, who scored eight points.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Oakwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-11.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-44 defeat against Chrisman on the 31st. As for Oakwood, they have also already played their next matchup, a 69-52 victory against Cissna Park on the 31st.
