Soccer Recap: Mount Miguel Takes a Loss

Mount Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the El Capitan Vaqueros. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Matadors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in December of 2024.

Mount Miguel's loss dropped their record down to 3-15-2. As for El Capitan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-9-5.

While Mount Miguel had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
