While Flushing's win against Bowne wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 15-13 victory over the Wildcats on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Devils considering their two-run performance the contest before.

The win got Flushing back to even at 1-1. As for Bowne, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Flushing will take on Cardozo at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Bowne has already played their next game (against Bayside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
