Volleyball Recap: Charley Leonard Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Leroy Greene Academy

Wheatland's tournament run continued when they took on Leroy Greene Academy on Saturday. The Pirates came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Wheatland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Charley Leonard led the charge by getting four aces. What's more, Leonard posted four kills, the most she's had over her last two contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Gaylord, who had seven digs and two aces.

Wheatland's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Leroy Greene Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.
