Soccer Recap: Evans Comes Up Short

Evans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Lake Nona Lions, falling 13-0. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 548th, while the Lions are ranked 212th).

Evans' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lake Nona, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6-1.

Evans wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Ocoee on the 8th. As for Lake Nona, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against Innovation on the 8th.
