With a playoff win on the line, Dawson rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Thursday.

Fort Bend Dulles' batters probably weren't too happy with Preston Lima, who pitched a no hitter (he gave up two walks). Lima has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jack Dyment was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Mason Walls was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Dawson has been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Fort Bend Dulles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-9.
